Right, down to business. Big Mike has sold this website to me and I am hoping to revive it. I have lots of ideas for this site but hopefully not loosing the original idea and feel along the way. I will shortly be launching a marketing campaign to get some new members onboard. I will also be offering incentives to write reviews and forums posts in the form of £CASH$ Rewards!!! I am hoping to get some of the original crew back. So it works like this, you help me by posting on this site and getting your mates to join up and I will do my best to run a fun and easy to use website and if you post good quality content above the call of duty you will be rewarded.

Get your pics posted! We all want to see your ugly mugs. If I'm brave enough to post a picture of my chubby self, you can put one up also! Action shots of you playing your Wii are also cool! Oh yeah, and if you're one of the unfortunate souls that managed to loose grip on your Wiimote and put it through your plasma, we want to see that too!
Are you a blogger? Get your own blog right here on Wii Point. Blog about how your clan is the best, or how much you kick butt on MPH, or how your dad hogs the Wii and you have to get mom to kick him off! Whatever you want to talk about, you can do in your blog. I know there's a couple writers here (YoshiCircuit) that have fan comics, so get those up.
Reviewers, get your reviews in. There's a whole section for you to tell how you really feel about the Wii, or why the Wii is better than the PS3 (yuck!). Write reviews about anything gamer related or that you think would be of interest to gamers.
IRC geeks, PM me. I think we're going to need some channel ops that know their way around IRC, so if you're interested shoot me a PM.

Arnzero has jumped ahead, and he doesn't seem to be stopping, and rightly so, YoshiCircuit is right on his tail! Notice something about the two leaders? They recruited active new members. Those posts by your referrals really add up!
If you want to keep up with what's going on, don't forget to download the official Wii Point toolbar. It's quick and painless, and you check your PM's, new posts, and favorite section with the click of one button! Not to mention, it comes preloaded with Wii Point's sponsors, so if you need a new game, accessory or console you can buy it from a sponsor and Wii Point get's a kickback. Just a way to say thanks to the sponsors and keep Wii Point free for you.
To access the chat room, click on "Chat". Once the IRC loads, type in "/join #wii-point n1nt3nd0" and that will take you to our chat room. I believe you can set up your account to remember this, but I haven't figured out how. As soon as I do, I'll let you know.
Want to make an easy $20? Just show me your talent. No, not that you sicko. You're other talent: art. We need a new banner. The old one was too large and the new one (made by me) sucks. So, if you've got what it takes, here's the deal:
Size must be 500 pixels wide by 104 pixels tall
Has to be a .jpg, and use .jpg as the extension
You must be willing to relinquish all rights to the image to Wii Point if you win
Your name and physical likeness may be used for promotional purposes (prolly not, I just wanted to say that)
You have until January 15th to complete your image and post it in the Gallery under "Logo Contest"
Users will then vote by way of the comments and the image with the most positive comments wins
Voting will occur from January 15th to January 20th
Winner will be announced on January 21st
So, break out your crayons and colored markers and whip up something cool.
Recently there have been a few people that feel they have been unjustly banned, and would like to come back. I have no problem with that, assuming that those individuals behave themselves.
If you feel that you have been unjustly banned from Wii Point and would like to rejoin, send me an email and explain why you feel that you should be allowed back. It's possible that there was a misunderstanding or miscommunication. The mods and myself are only human, so it can happen.
